This Privacy Policy describes how CSN Peps LLC ("CSN Peps," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit csnpeps.com (the "Site") or contact us by email regarding research peptide products.

This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

CSN Peps operates a static informational website with an email-based order flow. We collect information in two ways:

Information you send us by email. When you email us to place an order or ask a question, we receive your email address, name (if provided), shipping address (when you place an order), the contents of your message, and any subsequent correspondence. Email is delivered to and stored in our Google Workspace account at [email protected].

Information collected automatically when you visit the Site. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard web server data including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This data is retained per Cloudflare's standard retention policies and is used for security, fraud prevention, and basic traffic analysis. We do not currently operate any third-party analytics scripts (e.g., Google Analytics) on the Site, and we do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

Shopping cart. The Site's shopping cart is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. We do not receive your cart contents until you choose to email us an order. Clearing your browser data removes the cart entirely.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Order fulfillment. To confirm orders, calculate totals, coordinate payment, and ship products.
• Customer communication. To respond to inquiries, send order confirmations, and notify you about your shipment.
• Compliance and verification. To verify the eligibility representations made under our Terms of Service (age 21+, US-only, research use only).
• Security and fraud prevention. To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
• Legal compliance. To comply with applicable law, regulation, court orders, or legal process.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the business:

• Hosting and email infrastructure. Cloudflare (website hosting), Google Workspace (email).
• Payment processing. When you choose to pay by ACH, your payment is processed via Mercury Bank's invoice system; when you choose to pay by card, your payment is processed via NexaPay; when you choose to pay in cryptocurrency, your transaction is recorded on the public Polygon blockchain.
• Shipping carriers. Your shipping address and order weight are shared with the carrier (USPS, UPS, or similar) used to deliver your order.
• Legal compliance. When required by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, customer information may be transferred to the successor entity.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and restricted access to email and order records. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain email correspondence and order records for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, provide customer support, comply with tax and accounting obligations (typically seven years), and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected], subject to retention obligations imposed by law.

6. Your Rights

You may contact us at [email protected] to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements;
• Opt out of any marketing communications (we do not currently send marketing emails);
• Exercise rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and Texas (TDPSA).

We may verify your identity before processing requests.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under twenty-one (21) years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

8. International Users

The Site is operated from the United States and intended for users located in the United States. We do not ship internationally. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Policy.
